Supporting up to 16 Tbps of bidirectional throughput today, the MX2008 provides comprehensive Layer 2/Layer 3 VPN support, broadband subscriber management, and agile service integration that includes deep packet inspection and carrier-grade NAT (CGNAT). Additionally, the MX2008 comes equipped with sophisticated timing and virtualization capabilities that meet stringent mobile services requirements.
With its scale, reliability, and industry-leading feature set, the MX2008 is ideal for use at the edge, core, and consolidated edge/core. It enables a wide range of business and residential services, including mobile transport and backhaul, business VPN services, next-generation broadband multiplay services, high-volume Internet, and data center internetworking.
